In Toronto, we saw XiaoRong and Reza's new house for the first time. In an older neighbourhood with big trees lining the streets, the house is also very close to the action of the North York center. A few minutes walk brought us to an Iranian festival on Mel Lastman square -- I had never seen so many Iranians before! In the local supermarket (note: not a chinese super market) there were all sorts of Chinese veggies and even frozen dumplings for sale. Toronto is truly a multi-cultural place.

I met my aunt, whom I had last seen when I was five. I also met Bunny Zong -- XiaoRong's cat. She looks much cuter in person, oops, I mean in cat, than in picture. It is instantly obvious why she got her name. She is also very gentle and friendly.

Well, what's a visit to T.O. without pigging out? It has always been my complaint that the Bay area's Chinese restaurants do not measure up to good old T.O.. We were not disappointed. Matthew found his spicy sichuan chicken!

At Jupi and Wai's, we were surprised to be introduced to yet another cat: Mutten. This one is still a kitten, very playful and O so adorable! After this trip, I'm seriously considering getting a cat of my own.....
